ALMECON Technologie GmbH - transformation into an owner-managed family company

With effect from 01.05.2024, Mr. Dipl.-Ing. Lorenz Vinke took over all shares in ALMECON Technologie GmbH and the associated holding company Vinke & Weber GbR from his co-partner Mr. Dipl.-Ing. Wolfgang Weber.

With this step, ownership and management power are fully combined. The aim is to realign the family business for the future and establish it for the next generation. A long-term orientation is a guarantee for the sustainable development and stability of ALMECON. Our aim is to strengthen cohesion and trust within the company to promote team spirit and make decision-making more efficient. The trust of our customers and employees should be strengthened to establish the continuity and tradition of ALMECON.

"I have become increasingly aware of this responsibility in the course of the decision-making process, and I am pleased to be able to carry out this task in accordance with ethical principles for my employees, customers, suppliers and all interested parties," says Lorenz Vinke when asked what motivated him to make this decision.

20th Nadcap Anniversary

Only the best companies in the global aerospace industry supply chain receive Nadcap certification.

Nadcap stands for "National Aerospace and Defense Contractors Accreditation Program" and is a global cooperative accreditation program for aerospace, defense and related industries.

In 2003, ALMECON was one of the first companies in Germany to receive Nadcap certification in welding. At that time Nadcap was not yet mandatory in the aerospace industry in Europe. Nevertheless, we took up this challenge to have our high competence in the field of joining technology confirmed by an independent body.

In May 2023, we celebrate our 20th anniversary and can announce with great pride that we have also passed this year's Nadcap audit flawlessly and continue to be in the Merrit system.

For our customers, the Nadcap certification provides a very high level of security and identifies ALMECON as a reliable partner in the aviation industry.

Our new investment for the future: Yxlon MU 60 XL

Industrial X-ray and CT Inspection System for the Aerospace and Foundry Industry. YXLON MU60 AE is a compact industrial X-ray and computed tomography (CT) inspection system designed for broad aerospace and foundry (automotive) applications. Flexible 2D and 3D inspection of casting defects and production flaws provide the confidence of a safe and reliable analysis.

Quality management system, which is conform to standards according to DIN EN 9100

During the monitoring audit performed by the certification center for management systems AirCert GmbH it was determined that our company continues to apply a quality management system, which is conform to standards according to DIN EN 9100 in all areas. A special praise goes to our employees, who all worked together.

Successfully passed recertification audit according to EN 9100: 2018
